Contractor Selection Process
Identification of qualified contractor resources is one
of the most critical elements of any contractor network. Emergency services and
property restoration often involves unique skill sets and expertise.
IntegResource
Canada also understands the unique
issues P & C insurers focus on regarding response time, price database
adherence, etc.
Application Process
IntegResource
Canada has developed an extensive
proprietary system for determining the qualification of each contractor
applicant. All aspects of the contractor’s experience are examined including,
but not limited to:
-
Years in business
-
Licensing
-
Training and Certifications
-
Estimate documentation
Application Review Process
Some contractor networks bring in almost anyone to
have “dots on the map.” IntegResource is very selective in order to ensure the
highest caliber possible.
The IntegResource review process includes visiting the contractor facilities,
interviewing key management, verifying equipment inventory and management
structure.
Items included in the contractor review:
-
Emergency response capabilities
-
Expertise in water extraction and structural drying
methods
-
Ability to perform all types of reconstruction or
restoration
-
Specialty services experience, mould remediation,
document drying, etc.
Contractor Management & Training
IntegResource Canada not only reviews the actual application,
but makes sure to communicate the level of service and coordination that is
required to maintain network standards. We look for contractor partners who
understand that they are only as good as their last project and their
performance and attitude reflects on the entire network.
